SalesManager Software is a software house specializing in the Customer Relationship and Service Management marketplace. Founded in 1989, the company has installed its main product, SalesManager, at over 600 companies throughout Europe and is preferred supplier at many national and international operating companies. The products of SMS are designed to allow medium to large organizations automate and manage their sales, support and service operations. Based on its unique SMS RAD FrameWork environment all products from SMS can be quickly and easily customized to the customers exact requirements. This last makes SMS a unique player in the marketplace.

All product is client-server and Internet-aware. All software is available in Cninese, Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Greek, Hungarian, Russian, Polish  and Italian. The Web thin-client  version of the software was released in 2004.

Thanks to the availability of product versions for the major European languages, SalesManager Software currently services over 600 sites and more than 50.000 business users throughout Europe.  All software is Unicode compliant, n-tiered and runs on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i databases.

Innovative approach

The Directors believe the company’s solutions represent a new generation of software products based upon an innovative combination of existing technologies and processes from Information Technology and Business Process Re-engineering. SalesManager’s approach is aimed at providing increased benefits to the customer’s sales force by offering standard applications while at the same time not sacrificing flexibility by providing the customer with the tools to customize his environment.

Proven method and model

Now in its twenty first year in the CRM marketplace and on the sixth version of its core product, the company believes its exposure to doing business with medium to large sales forces during that time, has fine-tuned its data model and the functionality required by modern sales forces. Supplying advanced software configuration management to large customers only enhances the market conception of this.

Ease of new product development

As stated elsewhere the company has built it’s own Rapid Application Development system, the SMS RAD FrameWork product. The company will continue to use a C++ and Java environment to control the kernel offering a combination of small fast systems, completely customizable by the customer or its systems integrator. This approach will free expensive and difficult to find programming resources to concentrate on interfacing and integration aspects, allowing our business analysts to prototype and develop new systems together with out partners and customers.

Proven, in-depth skills and management

The existing management of the company has over 60-man year’s experience in managing, developing and implementing systems at large corporations. The management has taken the current organization to market leadership in Holland and established a strong foothold in the rest of Europe.
