SalesManager Mobile

Modern sales professionals need to have up-to-date information on their customers at all times. Not just on the company network but also when they are on the road. SalesManager Mobile offers the sales person true mobile CRM functionality.

Working offline

SalesManager Mobile offers full-blown Customer Relationship Management functionality off-line on the Pocket PC. Sales people no longer need a connection to their offices to pick up customer data. Nothing is more irritating than not been able to get a connection when you need a telephone number desperately. All customer data resides locally on the Pocket PC database. When a sales person has completed a customer visit, he simply types in the visit report, clicks on Sync and the data is whisked off to the central CRM database. If they are messages for him , then they are transmitted from the server to the Pocket PC device.

Functionality

SalesManager Mobile offers the service professional a broad spectrum of CRM functionality. Standard functionality is:

• Mobile customer data with all address and contact person information. This can be updated and new data added.

• Complete customer contact history. All visit reports, mailing, in- and outbound e-mail are available on the Pocket PC.

• Agenda. Views of all appointments, per day, week and month. Views of all your colleagues agenda’s.

• Overview of all customer opportunities, their status and your pipeline.

• All customer order data, turnover information and debtor data.

• Product database with all up-to-date price and stock information.

• Synchronization over GPRS, GSM or any TCP/IP connection with the central database.

Flexibility and customization

SalesManager Mobile is built using the SMS Mobile RAD FrameWork , our development engine for the Microsoft Windows Mobile platform. The data model, the screens and the underlying business logic can be customized using the FrameWork. The data each mobile worker receives on his or her Pocket PC can also be determined by the application manager. Account managers may only see activities and opportunity info, but the regional manager wants the complete picture, including billing and debtor details.

Interfacing

SalesManager Mobile offers standard integration with the SalesManager CRM host. Through the open architecture of SalesManager Mobile Solutions, sales information can easily be interfaced, bi-directionally, with various back-office systems. Standard interfaces are available for Exact, Baan, Movex, SAP, GEAC and NaVision.


Technical Specifications


SalesManager Mobile is available for the Pocket PC. SalesManager Mobile Solutions run only on Pocket PC devices running the Windows Mobile operating system. We use Sybase iAnywhere as the local database. We offer standard interfacing with SalesManager CRM host databases running either Microsoft SQL 2000 or Oracle 9i.
